This event featured a gallery of body art & photography by Jenny Zander and stories from several queer artists from across the country. This work now lives in a book called Shapeshifters: Bodies Like Water. For opening night of the “Shapeshifters Gallery”, local artists featured in the book read from their chapters highlighting in one way or another that if you play with gender you play with power. The stories and visuals shared were offered as tools for expanding how we understand our bodies - and each other - in relation to gender, sexuality, and our environment.
